WHAT’S BUDDYS?
When you’ve lost a loved one, a job, a relationship, or struggle to get through the day, it can be hard to find someone who truly understands the hardships that you experience in life. We all need closer, personal relationships with others who get what we are going through. At times we do not know who to talk to or are not comfortable talking with our family or friends.
Buddys is a community of heartfelt connections and emotional lifelines. People from all over the country who understand the ups and downs of what you are going through. Our community provides support, comfort, and hope across many different journeys: family & planning, loss of a loved one, mental health, medical, and relationships.
Most support groups have hundreds or thousands of users that come together for a common interest. However, that can be harder to build closer, personal relationships to truly find hope and comfort during your journey. We do have these communities just like other support networks, but what really helps our community is the ability to suggest Buddys Like You for an immediate connection.
HOW DOES IT WORK
We ask several questions during onboarding to help suggest Buddys. The more information you give, the better the connections offered. Update your profile any time and Buddys will automatically suggest new connections. Users also have the ability to quickly change filters to see other age groups, locations, and timeframes of those dealing with their journey. Having an immediate connection to someone dealing with the same life challenges helps jumpstart the relationship for an easier conversation and the start of a long lasting friendship, growing and healing together.
Therapy can be expensive and not always affordable, and all you really need is a buddy to talk to. We’re here for those everyday conversations - for everyone and anyone. Support, whenever and wherever you need it.
